BrightStart Day Nurseries have been developed to complement our sister company Bransholme Community Childcare, which has been operating local non-for profit childcare since 2007.
The success of this site providing affordable, accessible childcare for local families has driven the company to expand to deliver their services around the Hull area.
Bransholme Community Childcare Ltd, was established by Angela Proctor in 2007, when Angela took over St.Andrew's Community Nursery (now BrightStart@Bransholme), which she had been managing since 2005. Qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1989, Angela has spent most of her career working within the private day care sector both in Hull & for a period in Europe. The companies 2nd site, BrightStart@Dorchester & the Out of School Club which also operates from the Dorchester site opened in January 2009.
Operating as a Social Enterprise Angela as the Managing Director of Bransholme Community Childcare Ltd & BrightStart Day Nurseries is a great believer that delivering Childcare Services should not be seen wholey as a money making venture, but a service which aims to meet families & children's individual needs, whilst ensuring parents are supported. Thats why are nurseries are small (between 24 & 38 places, individual in meeting the needs of our customers & their children & staffed by dedicated, local staff team who are highly trained in all aspects of childcare.
BrightStart Day Nurseries at present operates on 4 sites, BrightStart @ Bransholme, located on the large housing estate to the north of the ctiy, BrightStart@Hedon in the market town of Hedon, to the East of Hull, BrightStart@Compass, which operates from the north of the city & BrightStart@Dorchester & Kids Club, located within Dorchester Children's Centre on Dorchester Road, just off Leads Road within Hull.
With another site now in the development stage (Brightstart@Endike) parents can be assured that their children are within the care of one of the largest childcare providers in the Hull & East Riding area, whilst still recieving the personal touch from the individual settings.
Therefore providing a service that is professional,distinguishable & suitable for the working parent & those who want the very best in preschool education for their children.
